IRREGULAR PLURALS

 IRREGULAR PLURALS

Irregular plurals are noun forms that do not follow the typical rules for forming plurals in English. Most nouns in English form plurals by simply adding "-s" or "-es" to the end of the singular form.

As you can see, the plural forms of these nouns change their spelling significantly from the singular form. Irregular plurals can be challenging for learners of English because they must be memorized since they don't follow the standard rules for pluralization.
